What should we know about Animals identification?

The identification substantially increases the chance that the pet will return home. We encourage the pets’ masters to mark the animals. We may treat it as a form of policy which protects us and our pets in critical moments. The animals may be marked in several ways. Each of those has advantages and disadvantages. The main benefit is that the systems may complement each other.

The Address Tag / Identifier

It is attached to the Animals Colar, with info engraved. It Allows to contact the master Or the vet ( Vaccination identification).

The information is easily visible – allows for a faster contac

Incorrect placement, pulling the leash against the small circle may weaken its fixing and result in losing it.

Microchip - is implemented uder the skin. It carries transponder with a code which can be read when using a special reader.

The Animals will not lose it as it is placed under their skin.

The Microchip contains a special code of 10 or 15 digits It cannot carry any other information so we do not know in which database it Has been registered.

If it had not been registered anywhere , then there is no possibility how to reach the master.

If you want to read the chip you should possess a special reader . That means that one should see a vet or Animals shelter.

Tattoo - It is the most common way to Mark Animals. The method involves implementing some Ink under Animals skin to change the pigmentation.

It is easily visible.

This procedure is far more painful than microchip implementation.

The tattoo may fade away with passing of time.

- It may also leave a mark which does not necessarily look nice.
